ARLINGTON, VA
–
The Council of Producers & Distributors of Agrotechnology (CPDA) today applauded the U.S. House of Representatives for passing the Farm Bill, H.R. 7567, the Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026.

“The House has taken an important step to strengthen American agriculture as farmers navigate a more challenging economic environment,” said Terry Kippley, President and CEO of CPDA. “This legislation reflects the importance of policies that support profitability, resilience, and long-term competitiveness across the agricultural value chain.”

The legislation includes key priorities for CPDA members and the broader crop protection value chain. It advances crop protection innovation through Centers of Excellence, including recognition of and investment in adjuvants, strengthens voluntary conservation programs, and improves access to Technical Service Providers. Together, these provisions support the development and adoption of tools that improve product performance, optimize applications, and help farmers meet real-world production challenges.

The House passage of H.R. 7567 now sets the stage for consideration in the Senate.

“We look forward to working with Chairman Boozman and the Senate Agriculture Committee to build on this momentum and advance a final Farm Bill that supports farmers, strengthens rural communities, and reinforces U.S. food and national security,” Kippley said.
