CPDA President Terry Kippley and Past President & Executive Director Gary Halvorson were in Washington D.C. and visited The Hill along with CropLife America. They met with several members of the House of Representatives and the Senate regarding topics such as the defense of risk-based regulation (EPA), the implementation of the endangered species act, and the how to achieve the objectives of FIFRA through the Pesticide Improvement Act (PRIA-5). 
They met with the following Representatives: Rep. Rick Crawford (R-AR-1), Rep. Jim Baird (R-IN-4), Rep. Glenn “GT’ Thompson (R-PA-15), Rep. Rodney Davis (R-IL-13), and Rep. Dan Newhouse (R-WA-4).
As well as the following Senators: Senator Mike Braun (R-IN), Senator John Boozman (R-AR), Senator Jerry Moran (R-KS), Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-MS), Senator Roger ‘Doc’ Marshall (R-KS), and Senator John Hoeven (R-ND).
