Additional Resources for Growers at USDA

With ESA compliance looming, CPDA is working with USDA to get additional resources into the hands of growers.  Through USDA Practice Standards, and the use of DRAs, growers can get credit in their conservation plans that are then eligible for Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) funds through programs like the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP).  CPDA and CPDA member companies are planning to partner with NRCS at the state and county level, extension professionals and grower groups to help farmers qualify for cost share and implement conservation practices.
